A couple months ago my 97' F-250 5.8 started surging upon acceleration, it only does it in drive though if I manually select any other gear it is fine. It's like I'm hitting the throttle over and over as the RPM's just surge. I've brought it to 3 mechanics and none had solutions, so I gave up on diagnosis and replaced the transmission on my own as well as the wiring harness and the problem still persists... HELP, i'm only 16 and am running out of money!!! Now my parents think I'm an idiot who likes to waste money.
