Sorry, added signature, thought that would reveal vehicle, but it doesn't show up.

Dual tanks. PO indicated there were occasional issues with the auxiliary tanks/fuel switch. Both pumps run when switched back & forth with the in-cab switch.
Got all the manuals. Shows the fuel reservoir, but no explanation what it does. Can the fuel reservoir cause fuel delivery problems?
Also:
Inertia Switch pictures are attached. I've worked with 5 Lincolns equipped with the red button inertia switch. When this switch trips, what happens to the white tab?
This is obviously on. Off would be down?
Has very little movement.
