hey all, so i just bought a f150 and im new to the ford banner been a dodge guy my whole life but u had a few questions, it doesnt have 1st or 2nd gear i hear thats a shift fork issue can anyone elaborate for me and also tell me were i can find the parts for it and finally, tell me things i need to know about this trans, i believe from reading its a m5odr2

get your shift fork here. Replace both while you are there. and get the M5R2 SHIFT TOP PLUG KIT to fix an common leak before it happens.

thanks one more question i forgot to ask, does the trans have to be dropped to change these forks out?

so it looks like there is a panel that unbolts to get to the top?

Yea there's a plate on the floor. Might have to pull the seat and carpet but that's easier than dropping the trans.
