can't shift
re-installing 5 speed in my 93 f150. Needed to re install shifter so that I can switch gears to in able me to rotate the output shaft to align splines at clutch plate. installed shifter but cant change any gears. Any thoughts

Hmmm... I don't remember ever having that problem - but there again I always pulled my 'tranny out in neutral, did you? And did you use a pilot shaft to line up the clutch parts?
