Borg Warner 1356 Torque Specs
I found a PDF which contains torque specs for the Borg Warner 1356 Transfer case. I will paste the link for this document below. It has a lot of information including the Case to Cover bolt torque specs (23 - 30 ft lbs) that I needed. Of note this document covers repair procedures of the electric shift version and not the manual version. However the case to cover torque specs should be the same. I'm quite thankful to have found this. I had sent an email to borg warner from their email app on their website. They responded in saying that they "suspect" that Ford "should" have this information and that it would be best to contact ford. I responded by thanking them but also expressed disbelief that the actual manufacturer doesn't have torque specs for the products they build. It's a funny world we live in sometimes.
