Default All gears gone after tc replace

I have an important question regarding my 1993 F150 5.0 With the E4OD

i just replaced my torque converter, everything is installed again

and now my truck will NOT shift. it will shift into neutral, and park, and every other gear acts as neutral. Literally nothing happens, not even a slight movement. I can even push the truck while it is in gear. I have checked the linkages multiple times, I dont know how that could be causing my issue.

and i am not getting any flow through my transmission cooler lines (as of now, I put them back on to reduce contamination possibility)

Beforehand, the torque converter was grinding pretty bad, so i replaced it, now there seems to be no noise.

93 f150 5.0

with e4od

This truck drove before this, and now it seems as if the transmission isnt even circulating any fluid. I prefilled the TC with 1.5qt just to make sure it wasn't dry, and I've probably put about 7qts in the transmission itself, i didnt do a full drain. I don't need this truck long term I just need it to run, or it's gone.

The dipstick shows the fluid as high, very high, yet I have no flow through my cooler lines (as of now). I have reinstalled them since.

Please, anything helps. I am riding my bike to work.

I apologize for my lack of punctuation, I just need to get these questions out there.

It sounds like you did not seat the torque converter all the way into the transmission to engage the pump.

Hate to bother you on Vacation, but what do you think @RLXXI

Did you bolt the torque converter back to the fly wheel?

everything is connected. all 4 bolts are torqued. the transmission mated fine with the engine block, no resistance.

All 4 bolts are torqued, and the torque converter is mated flush with the flexplate. There is no abnormal noise when running, and the transmission mated to the engine block with no resistance

The one area I never worked in or got certified for is automatic trans so I'm out of idea's except to pull it back out and have a trained eye look at it. Could be as simple as missing nylon sealing ring on the trans input shaft.

Same here, I R&R them to be rebuilt, and watched our trans guy do some work at our shop.
But not a trans guy myself.

When you installed the converter did you spin it 3 times and feel it seat into the trans ?
You should feel it move into the trans as it engages the pump, and feel the resistance change while spinning it.

@Phil48315 @RLXXI I tried to make sure it was fully seated as best as I could. I even removed the new one while the tranny was out, and put the old one back in to check fitment. I spun it as much as I could, and it seemed to seat as far in as it could. There was resistance, the splines are definitely in contact, I'm at a loss at what to do. I may call my mechanic but I can't really afford anything like that : (. Thanks for the advice, it might just be time to get rid of it...
