Default Aftermarket Y-Pipe

A couple months ago I put on side exhaust that came out before the rear wheel. Last week I was back in the woods and I got caught on a tree branch. I basically tore off my exhaust hangers and twisted the pipe around. When i looked at it it had broke the pipes going into the y-pipe converter. After a lot of cutting I got the cat out, and my exhaust off. Also I have a 1988 F150 5.8L.

Now I'm looking at deleting the y-pipe cat and install a better y-pipe. After looking online I found this https://www.summitracing.com/oh/part...view/make/ford . Will this work?

I think that one is for a 5.0 - they are slightly different than the 5.8.

Bassani makes an excellent aftermarket Y pipe but it is pricey - $300-ish. Supposed to be the best. Magnaflow and flowmaster have options too I think.

I'd ask a local exhaust shop and see what they would do it for before buying pipe online. I almost ordered a y-pipe from summit but discovered a shop across the river that would fix it better for less.
