I just picked up my first OBS F150. She's a 1996 with a nicely hotted up 302, nice edelbrock carb setup,headers etc... C4 transmission and factory 8.8 non lsd 3.55 rear end. Tire size is 255/75/15 i think...(better check that..) and as you can imagine, it's not the best on the highway 😁

I'm looking for some more realistic highway driving (lower rpm) without sacrificing too much launch fun off the starting line around town...

Long term plan (when i can save the $$) would be a serious transmission change to an AOD, or 5spd manual swap and rear swap to lsd.

But what could I do that's fairly low budget.. ie change tire size and rear gear? Any real world experience or thoughts greatly appreciated.!!
