89 f150 bucks, afterfires and backfires
 

I have fought problems with my 89 f150 for years . It starts well and runs a little fast at idle but slows down in a few seconds. After it warns up it begins to cough and pop out the exhaust . I can hear it pop out the intake some also. It is bad enough that I have not been able to drive it home. Now it never gets more than a half mile before turn around and head back. I am not getting any codes from the CEL. A new fuel pump is in the tank. The timing has been set with the spout removed, then reinstalled. Fuel filter has been replaced. One head was removed for a burned valve and repaired. I have way too much money in this truck so I am married to it. I will gladly send anyone a gift who can help me fix the truck.
