Yes, the leak is fixed but the truck got worse before getting better. The clutch went out. A back yard mechanic who was reccommended did the work. He came from a distance away and used the yard of a friend of a friend to do the job. This "friend" never shut up. He talked over everyone and drove up nuts. I got him a pack of cigarettes, gave him 20 bucks and a ride to the nearest indian casino...then we got some work done. When we pulled the transmission, the housing was literally full of thick grease. My mechanic scratched his head over it...thought a previous shady owner was trying to cover up a problem or something. We cleaned the transmission housing, changed the fluid and replaced the seal. Replaced the clutch slave cylinder, clutch and flywheel and now all seem to be working as they should. It looks like the transmission leak has been solved with the new seal. Also, my power steering leak has been solved with a new pump. Now, I'm moving on to the next repair which will be a new thread under "brake problem" unless I find an old thread with the same discussion.

Does anyone know how much the price could range if the OD/Reverse slot is broke or if the fork is broke?

To sylver91: I wanted to say thank you for all the information you gave in 2013 to someone about not going into 5th & reverse. I have been searching for days trying to get the right pics, diagrams, ECT. 1st & 2nd is not going in, clutch finally went out after 3 months of having to start off in 3rd. We replaced it. I think the gears are stacked. Couldn't find out how to fix that. You are the 1st person to try to help without any motives but honesty & helpfulness.
