Default 4x4 conversion update/parts questions

I have been searching craigslist and pull-a-part places to find the parts i need for a 4x4 conversion. I found a guy that has quite a few parts from broncos and f150's. He has a TTB dana 44 front axle and 9 inch rear axle from an 85 bronco, and has the same set up from an 86 f150. Both sets are geared 3.55:3.56...which one would be the best option? I also found a manual transfer case from a 94 f150. what transmission should i look for, or would any of these parts even work? i could really use some help, so i appreciate whoever can respond!

Full size bronco and F150 are pretty much the same thing driveline wise.
And the frames are nearly identical for your purposes from 80 to 96.
Manual transfer case is going to be the way to go for a conversion, saves a lot of wiring/ computer nightmares.

Just a heads up not just any transmission will work, you'll need to find the 4x4 version or else you'll need to disassemble it and put the correct output shaft on it. I'd try and find a transmission/transfer case together as a pair.

What year is your truck. If you change to the 9" rear you might have speedo issues. Also I don't think the older ttb has as good of hubs as the newer. If your close to fl you just missed out. I just took a 93 ttb and 8.8 to the scrap yard. Also I've heard the bronco tcase is the better option. To avoid comp probs you need to find out what tranny you have and get the same one in a 4x4 version
