when i did my filter it came with a cork gasket. it leaked so i went back to the one that was on there before. it was a really nice one- rubber with metal rings for the bolt holes. i dont know the brand though. so if you did use a cheap gasket i would suggest getting a better one.

It's going to leak if you didn't fix the stripped bolts.
