Ok, so I have been thinking about buying a new set of wheels and tires for my truck but I haven't lifted it or anything. I took a look at the wheels and they are 15 x 7.5 and the tires that came on the truck are 235 75 15

Does anyone know what the offset of the factory wheels is?

Attached is a picture of my truck so you know which wheels I have.

All I know is when I installed my rims from a 79 F150, the rims stuck out an 1" further cause of the bigger offset.

Original rims and tires vs new. Stock sized tire.

Thanks, I'll try to find it somewhere....I see yours did stick out a bit there huh? Did you keep them on there? Did they rub anywhere?

Nope no rub. When the truck is on the ground the sidewall sits flush with the fender trim.

I got lucky and paid 20$ for a rusted set of rims. Then paid 100$ for sandblasting and primer and I painted them myself. Came out real nice considering how rusted and pitted they were.

i put cragar v-5 on my 2wd with 31x10.5 the rims are 15x8 with 3.75 backspace it has a nice stance before i put a body lift on it
