Default 8" or bigger lift?

I have a '96 and it already has a 6" with 35's, but I'm wanting to go bigger and cant seem to find any bigger lifts for these older trucks online. Am I looking at having a custom one built or am I not looking in the right place?

6" is pretty much it for most suspension lifts available commercially. That's already pushing the limits for safety.
Most people will combine a suspension and body lift to get more height.

The only problem about going bigger is that you haave more of a chance that your truck will tip over on the side if you round a turn to quick.
