Searching 1995 suspension steering parts
Is there any auto parts place which , once you have entered your '' specs '' , will ONLY give you parts that fit your F150 ? I started trying Rockauto , Ebay, Amazon, and they give me all sorts of options WHICH DO NOT FIT MY 1995. Thanks for any hints you have to share.

No. Someone always has to do some filtering. Either you, or a parts guy - even at the dealership. Look at what you posted - you didn't even mention if it's 2 or 4WD, whether it's lifted or modified, or what parts you're after. If you're that vague when searching those sites, it's no wonder they can't filter the parts for you.

Steve , I was not asking anyone here to search for me. So all the criteria was not needed in my post. In my post I said ' once someone had listed their specs' ... all the information you mentioned was in my searching criteria... but even though I was looking for 1995 for instance... I regularly got 1997 and later only results. I did not have this searching problem when I went looking for steering and suspension rebuild on my 2001 Lincoln Towncar. Cheers.

I'm confused - you should be able to filter quite well using rockauto's parts catalogue - The only thing it won't filter for you is 2WD vs. 4WD, but differences in those parts will be noted in the description for the part most likely,
What specifically are you looking for and then maybe we can point you to where you need to be.

I just want all the suspension and steering parts for my 2wheel drive 1995 F150 stock height, five liter normally aspirated , automatic trans, truck. Rockauto did not discriminate between early and 1997 and later in the list it gave me. I looked up dozens before I decided they were not doing a good job of applying listed criteria Thanks, Greg

Click on steering or suspension - select components for 2WD. If they don't differentiate between 2WD and 4WD then they are probably the same on both.

BLDTruth , Thanks, I will try that again. But I am sure I was specifying 2wd the first time... It was mostly the ignoring of the 1996 Line / 1997 that it kept giving me the wrong part number.
Djfllmn , Thanks... that is discouraging news. but at least they are not picking on my personally ... LOL

If I recall correctly - the only things that will be different steering and suspension wise will be the shocks and the rear sway bar links (if you have anti sway bars). The rest is the same between 2WD and 4WD.
Once you get into brakes and rotors and drivetrain stuff, that's where the differences really start coming into play.

I was going through multi page lists of what it fit and it never mention PRE 1997 ...
it was not two wheel drive compared to four wheel drive it was missing as a criteria..
The brakes and rotors and drivetrain are not a problem...
Thanks,
