Default Rear brake lines advice

I have a 92 f150 4x4 reg cab short box and I need to replace one straight section and both left and right lines from the drums to the T-fitting on the diff. Wondering what size line I need and type? Also would I be better off buying straight lines from an automotive store and bending them or buying them already bent and if so what website would you suggest thanks a ton for the help!

I have used both Inlinetube.com as well as the local parts city place. IF you have a bender/flare tool the cost is about the same either way.

The online stuff was an exact copy down to the clip placement. Using your own tubing is OK.

I used stainless on my truck, and would not use it again, only because it will be very difficult to repair, as we tried a couple of flares on some scrap pieces of stainless and even with the good flare kit, the stainless was very difficult to keep in place and the flares wanted to crack/split just as they complete...

Best of luck.

Yes, but one of the flare nuts is different - bigger. You can buy premade lines and bend them to fit (buy a bending tool for 15.00 to make it neat) but you will have to cut one of the inboard flares off, put the larger nut on and make a new flare.
This will make more sense when you get there.

You can buy premade lines but if you live in an area that has salt on the roads I would buy a tubing bender and flare kit. Get some brake line and fittings and make your own. Next time you will have everything you need to do the job.

Hi, I have a 1987 f150, reaer wheel drive, obviously, right? anyways I am leaking brake fluid from one of the lines going to back passenger wheel. thats when I noticed there are two lines that go the wheel. are these both brake lines? why two? of course the one that is leaking is the that doesnt connect with a nut. I am having trouble finding a replacement because I am not sure what this line is. Does any one have any thought?
Thanks in advance

Take a picture. It sounds like you're looking at the brake line and the parking brake cable, but post a picture just so we can check nobody did anything weird to it. It's happened.
