Default Proper end links for front sway bar

Details:

91 f150
6 inch lift (I believe)
35 inch tires
Dual front shocks

The bolt that attaches the front sway bar to the end link hits the front shock on the right side. On the left side there is a 1/2 inch of space between the bolt head and the shock. I noticed this because every once in a while I heard a clanking. Upon inspection I noticed the obvious mark on the right shock. It just started doing this a short time ago. It was fine for years. Also, the end links seem very tweaked. Almost like they should be replaced with a more appropriate end link for a six inch lift??? I just don't know much about suspension and such.

I am getting the alignment checked/done tomorrow. While they are at it they said they would throw on new end links because they are cheap and easy.

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

Have you got the bolt head or the threads and nut on the shock side ? Would turning the bolt around help ?
