Default lift or level for a 92 f150 lariat i6 2wd

Evening all,

This is my first post here and i just started getting into trucks, probably due to the fact that i now work in an automotive store. I have a 1992 f150 Xlt Lariat i6 4.9L and the front end is noticeably lower than the back. I had it raised in order to replace the muffler... and i realized something. even with an extra four inch lift on the front it looked damn good.

To be honest i have the money but i am trying to decide if a lift kit is even work it on my beast. or if i should just try and get a leveling kit to give it that even look.

Any advice would be appreciated. Hopefully i hear from one of you all soon.

so what size tires do you plan on running? 4inch suspension lift would look pretty good with 33s

i dont think so. i leveled my 4x4 with F-250 coil springs all it needed was an alignment afterward and i'm running 33s now but i plan on putting a 3 inch body lift on it too

My dad was a mechanic for 35+ years and he said what i coukd actually do is out e250 ambulance shocks in the front and it would give me about three inches if lift... That seems iffy ti be though.

Is it safe though? Seeing as how i can get the heavy duty springs and proper hardwear for less than 100 out the door.
