Default Lift Kit Questions for 1995 F150

Hello all,

I recently purchased an F150 Centurion Custom and would like to lift the truck 2-4 inches and replace the current shocks. Do you have any recommendations on a good lift kit or shocks?

Please let me know, thanks!

Bump! I'm sure someone has done this before.

I don't mind spending a little extra to do it right.

Rough Country and Tuff Country seem so be popular brands. Anything above 2-3" should include drop brackets for the I-beam, drop brackets for the radius arms (some kits give you all new radius arms), sway bar drop brackets, and a new pitman arm. Once you get into the 4" and above you are looking at longer front brake lines as well.

If you just want to raise the front 1.5"-ish to level with the rear then you can get some moog cc824 springs and some alignment bushings and be done with it.

If you search for Rough Country on this forum you'll find someone who did a really detailed write up with lots of pictures. His finished truck is a 95 with 4" Rough Country and 32x11.5x15 tires. Very nice.

I was inspired and thinking of doing it next year, but may be too costly for me as I only have a 3.02 gearing.
