Default Leveling kit for 96 f150

Hello, i cannot find a 2.5 inch leveling kit online that will fit my 1996 f150 4x4. Is it possible to put 1.5 inch coil springs with a 1.5 inch leveling kit in the front of my truck?

I would suggest starting by installing a set of Moog cc824's and seeing how those work. At this point, you don't really know how worn or sagging the original springs are. If there is fine tuning to the 824's that needs to be done, I would used the 1/4" metal spacers (you can stack them) available at Bronco Graveyard.

You might be pleasantly surprised at how well the 824's level the truck.

Well here's a brief summary of the MOOG springs. At least for 2WDs:

CC822 are factory spec for a 2WD
CC824 are a heavier duty 822, they sit about 2-3 inches higher and support more weight.
CC844 are standard on F250s they will support a much heavier load and will give a stiffer ride but they actually have a SHORTER compressed height than 824s
I believe there is also a CC844S that is an even heavier duty 844.

I don't have all of technical specs on them, but I'm sure someone will chime in. And I'm not positive but I believe the springs are the same for all F150s with the I-beam front end (4x2 or 4x4) again don't mark my words on that.

With these springs the front of the truck will still sit low correct? I would like to have the whole truck sit higher.

The Moog 824's should bring the nose of your truck up enough to level it with the rear.

Judge for yourself..

not necessarily. Mine sits perfectly level front and back. Mine is a regular cab long bed 4.9 and the lifted mine about 2.75 inches on one side and 3 on the other.
