Default Hub replacement

Have a 1996, replacing my hub and don't know what tool is needed to take this nut off. (See Picture) The person who owned the truck before me put on locking hubs.

Rented the 4 prong spindle socket thinking I would need that but it obviously does not fit this nut.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Kelly

I believe that you need a special socket...my 1992 is different than this one,

so I am not sure the part number, summit racing has them

I think local auto parts should have a house brand for $15-20 bucks. I have used finish nails and vise grips before..

Time to get creative. I'd use a hammer and a screwdriver myself; and then replace the nuts with some you can get a proper socket for.
