Front sway bar.
I am planning on replacing my bent sway bar (the front one) but while looking around in my local junkyard. I’ve noticed that some of them seem different. Most of them I already can tell don’t fit based on how they connect to the wheels hubs. The one I have used some elbo shaped links to go from the wheel hub to the bar. But what I’ve noticed is how some of them connect to the body of the truck.
The ones I see at the junkyard are held on by brackets that are closer to the ends of the body. But on mine, it is attached to a big piece of metal that comes down more towards the cars center. I just want to know if the two are interchangeable even though they mount to the body differently.

I think all the front bars are the same, but I haven't actually compared a frame-mount to a crossmember-mount. Study this & the NEXT one:
