Air bag kit would work great but it does limit the distance the axle can move from the frame, decreasing the ride quality unloaded. I had a kit in my 95 and if I used it more I would have kept it. The Roadmaster Active Suspension is also something to consider. It's basically like an add a leaf but can be left unloaded until a load is added so it doesn't affect the ride harshness much if any at all.

Update - The florida dirt must have just been super heavy. Truck doesn't seem to squat much with a trailer and 17ft boat. Rear has a 2 inch drop shackle.

Boat towed just fine 65 mph for 150 miles. I dont think the truck could safely tow anything bigger than 19ft though.

Exact setup as my 95 including the drop shackles. I added air shocks, they can be lowered to 20 psi for normal cruising and the pressure raised for a load.
