Brake Leak Help.

Hello,

The other day I noticed brake fluid on the ground and leaking at the drivers side wheel area. It looks like it's coming out of the fitting where the metal line & hose connect. It just started doing this, what would cause it to do that? Can you buy just the fitting?

Fitting is part of the hose. Needto replace the hose.

Oh ok, the rubber hose correct? After replacing, do I need to bleed just the wheel or both front ones?

Both. But make sure it's the rubber hose (flex line) that's leaking. usually it's the steel lines that go - one line comes in from the master, the other goes out to the driver's wheel.
And don't drive your truck. You're about to lose your brakes completely.

K, the leak is right where the metal line and rubber flex hose connect behind the wheel.

Most likely to be the steel line. A little rusty ? They all get like that after 20 years. Good idea to take a real good look at the other ones too. If you can change them yourself, they're quite cheap.
