Alignment Issues after Install of Moog 824s
#12
Update:
Took my truck back to the alignment shop today. Explained to them how displeased I was with their work, and after the truck was placed on the rack, I explained how I believed that the bushings were adjusted incorrectly. Sure enough, they were completely turned in the opposite direction as I thought. After a good 3 hour wait, all is good! Camber driver side is 0.0, camber passenger is 0.1, and toe and caster were in the same parameters as well. Must say, now that all is done, the Moog 824 replacement is the best bang for the buck “leveling” kit. The ride is way better than stock, and the look is perfect.
Thanks again for all the help!

That's awesome! Glad it worked out. Love my 824s too.

Moot 824's
Queation, are the moog 824's way different than the rough country 1.5" leveling springs, I put the rough country on my truck and it seems to ride the same as stock maybe a little better because it is a 96 f-150 extra cab with 5.8 and I think the springs were original just curious which springs are best for a ride with less body roll without sacrificing smooth ride

So if you just installed Moog 824s, the spring rate is higher than the 822s which will cause a little bit of lift, but with the added weight of your truck, I’m not really sure. I know there’s a few more threads on here that have talked about super cabs and the 5.8 using the Moog 824s, but I can’t remember what their results were.

Directions say to elongate the slot. Legit way is to purchase adjustable upper control arms. I'm getting a set from IHC suspension. I've been running mine lowered as is for 4 months. Too much negative camber but other than that its straight. I'd like to not wear through tires and also have the correct camber so it looks a little better.
