Abs module location
 

I have a 95 F150 5.0 RWD truck that I've replaced every thing in the front and rear brake system including the rear abs sensor and the master cylinder and both the abs and brake lights stay on. Mechanically it works like brand new brakes but I couldn't get the lights to go off.

Well I got tired of messing with it and took it to my local Ford stealership since I couldn't pull any codes on it myself and they said the ABS module was bad. Unfortunately it is a repair/return item and I can't find a new one so a junkyard is my only option.

Here are my 2 questions: where is it even located at? I'm seeing mixed answers under ash tray, by coolant reservoir etc
2. Are there some pins I can jump electrically and not replace it to get the lights off?

It is the black box right behind the glove box.
The small white box right beside it is the wiper module.
When both lights are on, sometimes that's the float in the master cylinder stuck at the bottom.

yea it's a new master cylinder and the float isn't stuck. I checked that before I sent it to stealership. But that is where it is located at thank you!
Any chance that if I unhooked it the lights would go off until I can find another at a scrapyard that's good? It's not a daily driver more like a farm truck but it's annoying me

If it's automatic that can lead to shifting problems - abs is tied in to the speedo.

I unplugged mine without issue. I also bypassed the unit under the cab cause it was bad and i didn't want to spent $150 to replace it.

RABS is only a branch between the ABS sensor & the PSOM. So unplugging it does not interrupt the signal making its way to the EEC for transmission control (E4OD/4R70W only). This diagram shows the locations of most RABS components:
