91 f150 ANti lock & Emergency brake light on
i have been dealing with my anti lock and emergency brake light coming on after brakes get warm for the last three weeks. I have tried to trouble shoot this myself with no success. I have replaced abs rear sensor, master cylinder, proportioning valve, rear drum valves on both sides & have flushed fluids multiple times. Any suggestions on where to look next ?
Thanks in advance

STOP replacing parts. To interpret the dash lights, read the owner's manual & this caption:

Codes do NOT mean to replace parts, either. They only indicate where diagnosis should begin.

There have been many recalls involving ABS, but NONE (that I'm aware of) were completed by simply unplugging the control module. You might be thinking of the massive SCCDS recall - the first time, there weren't enough parts available to fix all the affected vehicles, so the SCCDS was temporarily unplugged until parts were manufactured, and eventually, everything was reconnected to work as-designed.
If you know of one, post the number, or a link to it.

Might not be of much help and I notice you've replaced fluid but I had brake and ABS light come on with my 1995 2WD and it turned out to be low fluid. Topped it up, lights went out! And I think it's low coz one of the rear wheel cylinders is up for getting changed but...
Always. check the simple stuff first
cheers
