Default 94 F-150 radius arm bushing

Hey guys i have a 94 f150 4x4 and thinking about replacing the passenger side radius arm bushing cause i am tired of the clunk. Whats the easiest way to replace it?

i think someone here said there is a way to slightly disassemble the front end to pull the arms out, but most people ive seen have removed the bracket by grinding off the rivet head and punched them out. Replace bushings and then replace rivets with grade8 bolts.

Disconnect the shock, remove the spring, take the nut off, and pull like your life depends on it.

what are the torque specs for the radius arm bushing?

i used alot of good ratchet straps and a floor jack....was a pain in the *** but me and my dad did it in less then half hour

If the bushing is wore out, chances are the lip on the bracket is gone too. If it is, you're new bushing will wear out in no time cause it won't be able to stay in place. The lip needs too look like the one is the pic.

I'm currently doing this.. after being underneath I believe the easiest way is to grind the rivets off and remove bracket.. install the new bushings and put it back together with grade 8 bolts. Will be that much easier next time you have to do it.
