f150- 2x4 trucks use 2.5" wide springs, with narrow shackles and frame mounts.

ALL other trucks f150-4x4, f250-2x4, f250-4x4, f350-2x4, f350-4x4 ALL use 3" wide rear springs they are ALL the same length, ALL use the same shackles and frame mounts.

off road springs dont have crap for load capacity, thats why so many people that use them for on-road and hauling stuff complain about spring sag, and why you see lifted trucks pulling loads and the rear end is squatted real bad.

off road spring rates are soft of extreme articulation,

I have heard about that too, hence why i am going to go with f250 springs im sure over time they will sag just like the stock springs i got now but 122k and almost 19 years out of them is not bad I will probably go with the f250 rear and front springs for the f250 with the I6 or 302 engine. want to make sure its not going to be odd looking. thanks! I plan on ordering the rear springs tomorrow then the fronts next week

Sorry if this is a newbie question, but can you just buy a set of F250 front springs and swap them out with the F150 OEM springs (I have a 1992 4x4)? Any good suggestions on a source for new springs?

Thanks!
