Question 1994 f150 suspension conversion project possibility's

Recently I have been neglecting my truck and it seems being an idiot i broke both secondary rear leaf springs not complaining there OEM with 122k on them! and well the front springs are sagging to the point of casuing my camber to be out to much so its time to replace both of them, I have been around here since i bought my truck about 5 years ago and always wanted to swap over to the f250 progressive rate springs up front and get add a leafs for the back for a bit extra lift. however I may just go buy a 3 inch suspension lift, I am torn between the two, on one hand ill get cheap lift but a rough ride then the 3 inch lift i'm worried might be to much, either way I will be going one way or the other, looking for suggestions keep in mind this is my daily driver. thanks! all i really do with this truck is drive it around town and might occasonaly go off the beaten path, and of course winter

if you dont do any hard offroading might I suggest the f250 coilds with an add-a-leaf in the rear. then get you a 2-3" body lift.

Body lifts are out of the question my manager at work has a chevy with a body lift it looks retarded, I need to spend money on the springs and coils anyways.
If i recall you can get f250 progressive rate springs, the rear i could put a block on with stock springs, I am wondering if the f250 rear leafs would bolt into my existing hangers? i dont think they would however it could be possible?

a 2" doesn't look bad on the fords, i'm running a 2" and you cant even tell it is there.

yes the f250 springs will fit on the rear, but it would be faster and cheaper to get an add-a-leaf, and they are better than blocks.

well the thing is I am going to be replacing both sides as I have managed to break the secondary leafs so weather it will be stock or f250 they will need to come out anyways. I think i might spend the extra cash for the f250 springs all around my truck. I may keep the body lift in mind, got any pictures of your rig with the body lift?

I've never been a fan of body lifts mainly because of body roll.

your truck looks nice but i think due to the fact i am replacing the suspension anyways i might as well go with f250 springs and leafs, I would have to agree with body lift. i would prefer suspension travel over bigger tires anyways more leaf = more capacity.

true but not true, you can put semi truck springs under your truck, while you will gain some more capacity your still limited by the axles and tires.

yes your absolutely right about that. I don't recall what type of rear suspension rock crawlers use but you can get the picture lol the extra load capacity would be nice as well as the little extra height. I am wondering what f250 springs would fit my f150, Its a 4x4 short bed I know the 2x4 truck leafs are narrower then the 4x4s is it the same for the f250s as wells? so i would have to get f250 4x4 rear leafs or will any of them do? I found a set for 210 bucks brand new.
