Default Where to with a vacuum hose !!!

Greetings, I have a newly aquired 95 f150 with the 5.8
the photo here shows a short vacuum hose with a small piece of rag I had stuffed in it untill I can figure out where it goes or if plugged.
That little solenoid has a T at bottom an 1 goes to the throttle body intake and the one in my hand I can't find a spot for it to go to and I don't know if its missing anything either.
Any help appreciated here.

I'm curious what that solenoid is for?

I have a 96 5.0, and on mine there is just a 90 hose that runs back to something on the firewall. There is no solenoid on mine.

I actually need to replace the 90 degree hose but I'm not sure what it is called.

This is the hose on my 302 engine. See I don't have the solenoid thing your 351 has. The end of mine hooks to the black tube which I think runs to the hvac system.

If anyone knows what this is called, I need a replacement as mine is severely deteriorated.

Thanks.

The tube runs to this thing along the firewall.

Okay I spoke to the dealer today and mine runs to the fuel evac system. I'm assuming yours does the same.

That is the purge valve - you guys have 2 different versions of it. Should go to the charcoal canister below the battery.
Purge valve opens to allow the engine to suck in excess fumes from your gas tank and burn them off.

This happened to me a couple of years ago. Different size fittings at each end and couldn't find a replacement so located a generic plastic "T" and capped-off the unused end. Has worked admirably ever since.
