Having trouble firing
I am lost and have no idea what the issue is. Sometimes the truck fires off fine other times it will just turn over and not fire off. It is a 1995 Ford F-150 with the 5.0. I have replaced the distributer cap and rotor, spark plugs and wires (yes I put the wires in proper order), ignition module. Someone thought it would be the crankshaft sensor but the 95's does not have a crankshaft sensor. Does anyone have any other ideas? Also, at times the truck will die going down the road.

Not without a LOT more information from you. Start by putting ALL the truck's details into your signature so we can review them with each of your replies:

What is the fuel pressure when it runs, AND when it won't run?

Read this caption, print it off, and keep it in the truck. When it won't run, follow the procedure to find out if it's an ignition system fault:

And you need to clarify what you mean by "fire off" - EXACTLY what does it do, and what does it NOT do? Coughing, sputtering, backfiring, starter speed? Include the operation of the dash lights, radio, headlights...

What I mean by "fire off" is that the truck turns over when starting but does not fire (start) at times the truck with sputter right after it starts and then dies. The truck runs good for a day or so and then just wont start again. I have checked for spark from the coil, sometimes the spark is good and at other times no spark,.
