Default Seeking 93 f150 351w engine cover/lower intake manifold documentation

Greetings to the forum.
I need documentation for a 1993 f-150 351w front cover/water pump and lower intake manifold fasteners/studs.
I've relied on the Ford Body/Chassis Manual with great success throughout my recent rebuild, but as I approach the final assembly I am finding the documentation lacking.
The usually comprehensive manual shows the subject components in detailed assembly drawings, but does not list any of the fasteners/posts in the parts lists. I've been unable to determine any of the part numbers.
Thank you for your time.

You're not likely to find PNs for those fasteners, but you can probably find aftermarket kits of bolts for those applications (though NOT necessarily identical to the original fasteners). The common name for that part is "timing cover". The water pump is separate.

These show & their captions describe those fasteners:

Thanks Steve83.
I've always called it the timing cover as well. I was deferring to the nomenclature used in the Ford documentation, i.e. "cylinder cover". I also thought that terminology was odd.
While I've been looking for a couple weeks for replacement fasteners; surprisingly, no complete replacement package exists. The several partial packages available are all accompanied by buyers commenting that some or all are not direct replacements. All of the kits had fasteners that were of no use. Fyi, the closest I've come is a set for a 351w mustang resto application which looks close, but is not.

After bead blasting and painting the originals, I believe I can make them work.

Your photo showing the location of each of the water pump bolts is exactly what I needed to keep moving forward.

Thanks for your help.

Steve83:
I've been going to school on your series of photos detailing your build. Extremely helpful to me in my first non-aircraft engine rebuild.
Thanks.

That's why they're there!

Steve83:

As an engineer, I find it completely unbelievable that the Ford documentation does not identify the various posts, studs, and fasteners used in their products. I counted on the quality documentation I'd purchased prior to the disassembly, and therefore made the mistake of not recording the location of each and every component.

Clearly you didn't do this with your build, so I was hopeful that you might still have records showing these components for the lower intake manifold, valve covers, and the timing chain covers.

If so, might I talk you out of a copy?

Also, are the pics you supplied above for an 83 or 93 351?

Thanks.

Ford documentation DOES identify everything. But not the documentation vehicle owners have access to. Only dealership parts guys have that software & data, and training to use them.

If I had something like that, it would already be on SMN with all those other pics. I have all the service disks, but they're not that detailed - the first diagram I posted is what's in the service manual. My knowledge of these trucks comes from ~3 decades of stripping them apart (at home, at work, at a Ford dealership, and at junkyards across the continent) and putting them back together. I can often look at a fastener, know IF it's a Ford, and know where it goes on these trucks, and what years it was used on. I don't have pics grouping bolts together like you want, but YOU can... Group your bolts by exact shape/size/design, and take pics with labels for each group (or single bolts, if you like). Post the pics, and we'll try to help you sort them. This caption contains a link that explains how to post pics:

(phone app link)

If you have a bucket of bolts that you KNOW came from the intake, and another bucket of general engine bolts, DON'T mix them, even if you find the EXACT same bolt in both buckets. Sort ONE bucket at a time into groups of similar/identical bolts, and label each group for us to reference. Your picture can contain the groups from several buckets, but after you take the pic, separate the groups back to their original buckets. Don't pour all the buckets together.

My SuperMotors pages can be a little confusing, if you pay attention to the file path at the top of the page. Ignore it, and just read my captions. My first registry was my 300ci (now 4.9L) '83 Bronco (now rebuilt from a red 5.8L '93 XLT whose engine was blown), and that's where I store most of my general diagrams & photos that apply to all these '80-96 trucks. So many of my pics are on pages with "Steve83 > 1983 Ford Bronco >..." at the top, even though they may show something specific to '93, '81, or even '97; or any engine. Later (recently) I got a blue 5.8L '93 EB Bronco that I'm rebuilding, so there's a registry for it, and those pics have "Steve83 > 1993 Ford Bronco >..." at the top. I've posted some from each, so you might have assumed that they all said '83. The painted 5.8L is in the '93 EB, and that registry ONLY contains pics of that truck - nothing generic or universal.

Generally, cubic inches are used for carb engines (old), and EFIs are described in Liters, so I always follow that convention.

Steve83:

Can you provide the title of the dealer service documentation? I'd have to believe it is available somewhere on the net.

This is what I have already:
FORD MOTORS 1993 TRUCK, PICKUP & VAN FACTORY REPAIR SHOP & SERVICE MANUAL CD - INCLUDES Bronco, F-150, F-250, F350, Econoline E-150, E-250, E-350, F-Super Duty -COVERS Engine, Body, Chassis & Electrical. 93. It includes the 1,702 page "1993 Econoline, F-150, F-250, F-350, Bronco, F-Super Duty Powertrain/Drivetrain Service Manual", the 1,830 page "1993 Econoline, F-150, F-250, F-350, Bronco, F-Super Duty Body/Chassis Service Manual", and the 255 page "1993 7.3L IDI Turbo Diesel Service Manual Supplement". You will find detailed service procedures for truck identification, engine (gasoline and diesel, ignition, maintenance, fuel system (gasoline, diesel), clutches, axles, wheels, tires, exhaust, transmission, chassis, suspension, steering, brakes, frame, generating, lights, body, accessories, interior trim, lube, specs, and engine emission control systems. It was, until Ford shut down the torrent trackers a decade ago. The CD you have was combined onto a 5-year DVD. Later DVDs contained 1 year each of all Ford/L/M NA cars, trucks, & vans, until 2007 when Ford went to online manuals for dealership techs. I have all those CDs & DVDs.
https://www.supermotors.net/registry/2742/66609-2

But they're for service techs who don't need that much parts detail. Only the parts guys have what you originally asked for. I tried to get an obsolete disk when I worked at the dealership, but the parts guys told me it wouldn't work without a special internet connection to a Ford server, so I gave up.

Do you have the name of of the obsolete disk?

I see many screen shots at the link you provided above, but no link to the dvds.

Are they available somewhere there?
