Default Mild build on speed density

I'm curious if anyone else has tried to run with any success speed density with a mild engine build. My truck is a 1992 5.0 e4od and I acquired a 1993 5.8 from a local gentleman for a good price with pretty much everything from the fan to the bell housing. Our local Napa automotive distributor is also an engine machine shop and they're rebuilding the motor. The lower is to remain stock less being bored and honed .01 over. The heads I ordered are Edelbrock 60379 with a Combustion chamber volume of 60cc. Estimated Compression to be low 9's and the cam is Edelbrock's performer plus 2182 (more or less an RV cam) also have MSD coil and distribute. I plan on retaining all of the emissions (for now)and will be purchasing a set of Gibson headers but. I'm going to purchase a 1992 ECC for 5.8/E4OD and attempt to run this set up, of course if it doesn't work then I'll have no choice than to convert to MAF. If anyone else has had any experiences trying this please chime in.
