I think I need new injectors.
 

It's a 93 F-150 4X4 with a stock 351, auto trans, manual transfer case and locking hubs with 182,000 miles on it. A little long winded I know but didn't want to short anybody on info. I bought it about 2 years ago and only drive it on the weekends, sometimes it might sit for a couple of weeks without going anywhere. The injectors in it look way to clean to be stock. They look like the yellow ones you can buy on Amazon for $60/8. It ran great when I first got it. Now it will idle fine but sounds like it is missing (but no backfiring) when I try to give it some power. If I mash it to the floor, it still sounds bad but it does have some get up and go. I tested the fuel pumps. They both have close to 20 pounds with just the key on, 38 or so when running and around 42 when I step on it. It does not smoke at start up or when running. It started running a little bad about a month ago and every weekend it has gotten a little worse. Now it is embarrassing to drive it because it sounds so bad. I was thinking about putting a set of reman Bosch injectors in it. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any help y'all can give me.

You're guessing blindly - you've done nearly zero diagnosis. A visual inspection is good and should always be the first step, but parts can't be TOO CLEAN to pass. Fuel pressure is also important, and that passed.

If you want help, you're going to have to describe the problem better. So far, all you've said about it is "sounds bad". We don't know what you think "missing" sounds like, so that doesn't really tell us anything. Have you read the Haynes manual? Read this caption before buying one:

How old is the gas in it? What season did you buy it, and where (put your location in your profile)? Winter blend gas is different from summer blend, and the changeover occurs at different times depending on local climate. When you had the pressure gauge on it, did you take a sample & let it settle in a clear glass jar to inspect for contamination? What do the spark plugs look like? Compare them to the inside back cover of Haynes. This diagram is not as thorough:

If it's actually misfiring, that's more-likely an ignition system problem than fuel.

I just filled both tanks last weekend. I put new plugs, wires and cap on it when I bought it and have only put about 2500 miles on it since then. I changed the fuel filter on it about three weeks ago. There are no burn marks in the wires to insinuate that they are shorting out. I live at the top of Arkansas so it is a fairly warm climate. It sounds like it is hitting on a dead cylinder but not the same one every time.

None of your links open any bigger than they appear on your post. It turns out it was my distributor. Removed the cap to find a bunch of rust powder and shavings when I was replacing the injectors. I put in a new distributor and it ran better. I drove it about 35 miles and it started backfiring, misfiring, lost all power and had to get it towed home. That was last Sunday. Left it sit all week and just went out to try to start it. Cranked over three times and ran perfectly. Any ideas on what I my problem may be?

Was your new distributor a rebuilt distributor? Rebuilt distributors have a terrible reputation. Someone trades their old distributor in because of a quitting problem like you just experienced. The parts place sends in the exchange distributor and the rebuilder tests is and it fires because it's cold, so they just clean and polish it and send it back out for resale.

If my theory is correct you will keep experiencing the quitting problem until you replace your currently installed distributor.

Brand new distributor. I went to a good auto parts store (not like Autozone) and they fixed me up. The kid behind the counter told me it was my coil. I replaced it and now most everything is fine. Still have a little less power. I will adjust my timing some more and see if that helps. Thanks for the response.
