Just go with stock, you won't feel any more power with the high dollar stuff. A good tune-up with a fuel system service, egr valve cleaning will perk your truck up without killing your purse.

A freebie you could also consider is to advance your timing a few degrees if you haven't already done so. I run about 18*-20* BTDC and it makes it a little more responsive. Provided everything is running as it should be you can get away with a fair amount of advance past the factory settings since you're most likely running 10% ethanol blend but don't get too carried away. Just advance it a a couple degrees at a time, drive it a little and if you get any knock back off a degree at a time until you find your engines happy place.

You could also do the timing bump/ignition upgrade. High output ignition coil, better wires to handle the extra power, copper core plugs over gapped for a better burn with the stronger spark, and advance the timing for better and more efficient burn like he said.
