Default exhaust manifold gaskets?

92 f150 I went to the dealer to purchase exhaust manifoled gaskets. The dealer told me that there's no gaskets on that year. And I question that? And if there isn't any in there should I put them in there?

The exhaust manifolds from the factory are machined for a true fit, so they don't come with gaskets. However, once you remove the manifolds, it's best to use the aftermarket gaskets such as Fel-Pro to ensure a leak free seal.

other option is to get the manifold planed at a machine shop. Gaskets are the cheaper option by far but who knows how long they will fix a leak if your manifold is warped.
