Default engine vibrating and engine warning light

I have a 2005 f-150 5.4L 8 cylinder truck. The engine started vibrating recently. I don;t know if it is the alternator, spark plugs, COPs, or whatever. My first guess was the alternator because I can feel the engine and driver's wheel shaking a little. While driving it feels like it has weak torque. After trying the rev up the engine while driving, the warning light starts blinking. But after reading some posts, it sounds like it can be the COPs and spark plugs. Sometimes when I start it up, it will have a high idle and it will get low after a minute or so. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't have a diagnostic tool right now so help is needed here badly. Thanks in advance.
