So I have a 1993 flareside 5.0 with an e40d trans is taking a ****. I have a trans I got from a friend that has a shift kit in it and the motor in the truck has 315k so it could go anytime. When it does I wanna swap another 302 in it but have it rebuilt and some motor work done. Forged Pistons, can, headers, ect. Nothing too crazy but something that can handle the power if I were to slap a turbo or super or pro charger on. Now I'm wondering. Just roughly how much will this cost to do. I'd do the swap part myself but how much to have a motor rebuilt and work done to it. And what all has to be done for everything to work properly.
