Default Egr on 96 f150?

I'm putting headers on my f150 with a 351w. Might switch heads because I'd like another cam. Or just work the stock heads. But I'm wondering what I do with the egr? If there's a delete kit or if I can just get rid of it and what kinda problems id be facing. Thanks

Does yours have the tubes coming up from the exhaust manifolds and all that other junk?

My truck doesn't even have an air pump which I think has something to do with the smog stuff? I'm not sure I don't know everything about it. I'll admit that lmfao

they say long tubes are better for low end torque and shorties are for top end. Shorties are louder. That's What I've been told. I went with the long tubes but idk what I'm gona do with the egr and o2 sensors. My truck doesn't have the smog pump but there's a pulley there and I was gona get a new one but ford wants $130 for it.

Yeah I always thought long tubes were better low end but I recently read that shorties are?? I would like long tubes but since my trucks a reg can short bed and my exhaust comes out in front of the rear tire on both sides there's not enough room for them. I'm looking at pacesetter shortys and it moves the egr to the other side.

I'm not too sure. It prolly depends on how the engine is built and the driver. But these are my first set soo will see what happens.
