Have a 1991 f150 with the 351 V8. The check engine light came on so I pulled the code and got code 56. Everywhere I look says that code 56 is the mass air flow sensor out of range. I'm not totally sure about this but I didn't think that 91 had a mass air flow sensor. Does it have one?? And if it does where is it? Because I already checked the entire air intake system and couldn't find it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Yours should be a MAP system mounted above the heater on the firewall. The 56 code also is for a temperature sensor unit on the E4OD transmission(TOT) signal voltage too high.
