Default 302 cam questions

Do we have any cam gurus in here? My truck is pretty much a street truck, 96 f150, 2wd, roller motor, auto, 373 gears, long tube headers, 6litre tuneup. I'm looking get get a little more power out of it so was seeing a lot of people have been using the e303 cams in similar trucks and are happy with it, I posted on a local mustang page that I was looking for one, someone posted that they have a tfs stage 1 cam they would sell, do you think this would be to aggressive of cam? It's similar to the e303 but the lift is .512 where the e cam is .498.

Do you think the tfs cam would be a bad choice? I plan to get my e7's worked over also but would like to stick with stock valve springs if possible.

Thanks in advance

You're stock valve springs are not going to do well with either of those cams. Better look in to upgrading those as well.

1990 5.0, I have been doing a bit of research on valve springs and it seems like trick flows will work with my e7 heads so I will grab a set of them.

I've used a E303 with 1.7s on a stock short block it had Edelbrock Performer RPM's with the 1.94 1.6 valves though. As far as Trickflow the only experience I've had is with the stage 3 on a motor that had Trickflow heads and DSS rotating assembly. I have heard good things about the Trickflow stage 1 though. Sorry not much help but that's all I have..
