1995 F-150 5.0 Replaced solenoid on fender well, click click
Changed starter after solenoid. Started and ran. Exhaust manifold gasket kept truck sidelined till fixed. Started truck found another exhaust leak. Repaired went to start solenoid clicks. Replaced starter again, still clicks, checked small wire at starter spiced wire loose at splice, repaired splice, still just clicking. Ran out of daylight. Will check grounds for solenoid and starter in morning.

Welcome to the site!
First, are you sure the battery is good?
If so, suggest to take a screwdriver or similar metal bar and short across the main (big) terminals of the solenoid. Use appropriate caution for sparks.
If the starter rolls, suspect bad solenoid or solenoid wiring.
If the starter doesn't roll, suspect starter or electrical connections.
Either way, suggest to at least inspect power (big cable) connections - at battery posts, at solenoid, at starter, and at engine block for ground. Also, there should be a second ground lead coming off the battery attached to the body frame. All should be clean and tight. Have a look at the cables right off the battery posts - have had instances where corrosion went clean through the cable underneath the insulation and not readily visible right behind the post clamp.
Good luck, and keep us posted.

Those are the classic symptoms of bad battery terminals. Click this & read all the captions:

It belongs on the frame & block, as this shows:

The one that goes on the plenum is just for radio interference.

Thanks to steve83
Looks like I need to get that harness assembly. Has been a project truck. Had used motor installed before I got it. Everything under the hood has been hacked and whacked broken and disconnected. All thge vacuum lines coming out of firewall are just one example.

It's relatively easy & cheap to repair the battery cables, including the ground terminals. Click this & read the captions:

There should only be 2 vacuum lines penetrating the firewall, and they're just for the HVAC system. The white one is known to degrade just from the sunlight that gets in along the edge of the hood.

BTW
There's a "Thanks" button in the bottom Right corner of each post (except your own).
