Default 1993 F150 XLT won't run or start

Hi, I'm new to treads and have a bit of mechanical experience but this has me stumped. Back story I was driving a couple of blocks after truck was fully warmed up and as I pulled into a gas station parking lot my truck completely died. I tried restarting it to no avail. Ended up towing it to my house to trouble shoot, and the story begins. I had zero spark so I started with the coil, then distributor and also the icm. New plugs were already in the block before this happened. I went through my manual and check what seems like every part and connector that's related. Both starter and fuel pump kick on as well as cranks. Even the ignition coil heats up like its winding and wanting to spark but still no joy. Help would be much appreciated.

A couple things you can check. Are you getting power to the coil through one of the small wires that hooks onto the coil, WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH TURNED ON? If you remove the spout connector( the thing you remove to set the timing) do you then get spark when cranking the engine?

Did you replace your cap / rotor? If nothing else it might be pickup coil problems

It ended up being pickup coil problems, they were getting fried by a wire grounding out where it shouldn't have been.
