Can anyone help with a part number for this item? My local shop has tried to order one, but the item received is incorrect (pictured below). Obsolete according to Ford.

The shop has sealed the system for now just to allow the truck to start. Hate to junk if I can't find the part. In the Oklahoma City area.

The trim level isn't the determining characteristic - it's the type of EGR: sonic (EVP), PFE, or DPFE? The tube in your pic is for DPFE (note the 2 small tubes branching off), but there's no indication what engine it fits. Based on its apparent size/length, I'd guess 5.8L. But it's hard to tell its shape from just 1 pic.

Try looking it up on http://www.fordparts.com/ , using the VIN, but also paying CLOSE attention to the fine-print notes beside each part.

What exactly happened to the original? Have you checked into getting it repaired/copied locally?

I just joined this forum. I need the EGR Tube for my 1996 F 150 Eddie Bauer 4.9l.

I got one from Dorman but it does not have the two tubes like the one in the picture. I am unable to find a replacement.

If you have one I would be interested. I live in Virginia

Hey so i know Im replying to an old post but i figured i would give it a shot. This is the only place ive seen someone find one. And ive been searching up and down these forums through google hard. But i have a 1996 f150 4.9 and im in need of that same egr tube. Not sure if anyone has a hookup for one but i needs it bad lol
