Default Calling all 3.7 l trucks

What has everyone done to their 3.7’s??? i have the edge insight cts 2 programmer with a custom tune already in the truck that helped with adding more torque and power. I was planning on getting the BBK 73 mm throttle body with a spacer and see if the dino numbers increase. If anyone has one and is currently not running it please let me know ASAP! I also have the k&n drop in air filter. For the exterior, i have the McNiell Offroading Fiberglass kit (front fenders) to make the truck look more wide and im currently searching for the rears. I plan on doing head lights, tinting the tail lights, 2 inch level kit in the front and 1.5 inch in the rear, 33 x 12.5’s (hopefully) with 4-6 inch spacers. LMK if anyone has any parts or ideas !!

This forum is for pre-'97 trucks, and there was no 3.7L offered in them.

good looking truck! it's a good thing you have a programmer on it. the 3.7's were a high rpm engine and didn't put out much low end torque at all. all those mods you want to do will definitely make the truck badass, but will be quite pricey. performance mods for the 3.7 aren't too hard to come by thanks to it being offered in the mustang

that should increase hp by a decent margin. 4.10 gears is low for a 3.7. your mpg will definitely decrease

im not worried about mpg, its going to be a fully built truck. the 4.10 gears should help drastically in 1st and 2nd (i spin so bad with these tires). if i dont like the 4.10 i can trade for 3.55 and do a 150 shot of nitrous 👌🏻

Yes, i installed the new throttle body from BBK and it does help the throttle response despite not increasing much hp on the dino. I do like the 4.10 gears despite people saying they’re too short for the truck or that i’ll lose gas milage. I have also been talking to a truck shop called Deviate Customs in Miam, Florida who will he hooking me up w some new suspension parts, wheels, and grippier tires. I will fill you in when i install the parts 👌🏻
