94 f150 4.9 need help asap

Hello everyone

I need some help asap on my 1994 f150 4.9 4x4 5speed. When I crank the truck up on cold hasn't ran all day it fires up perfect nothing wrong but if I cut it off wait 10 minutes or so an try to crank it, it takes a little long for it to fire up then it starts with a low idle like a tractor smokes whitish grey out the tailpipe an will eventually level out but when I drive it no matter how long or anything it jumps like its running outa fuel or I'm out of the power band. I've replaced all plugs an wires an bought a new distributor replaced the temperature sensor an throttle body gasket I'm at my end I have no idea what's the problem pleeeaaassseeee help! Thank you an have a blessed day

Check for codes first, then post over in the general section because more people will be able to help you.

white smoke out the tail pipe is water, sounds like a head gasket or cracked head, would explain all the other symptoms as well

Yep, smell that smoke. If it's actually a sweet smelling steam, you have head gasket issues.

My radiator no oil in it an just changed oil has no water in it my radiator fluid hasn't dropped an still has plenty in over flow tank, the smoke has a very rich gas smell in it not sweet I thought the same, I also had the codes ran only two was distributor pip so I got a whole brand new distributor an the other was engine coolant temp sensor I replaced it with new one this is really got me in thinking maybe injector bad or fuel regulator but I'm not to sure efi is a new thing to me I'm used to old school lol

sounds like a piston isn't firing and your getting fuel pushed through the exhaust.

could be caused by bad injector, vacuum leak or spark plug

Check your fuel pressure regulator. Especially check the vacuum line to it - if it has a fuel smell it would indicate a leaky diaphragm inside (which would overload the engine with fuel)
