Default 94 4.9 Liter valve seal question

Hi all,
I am doing valve guide seals on this motor. I have 120 psi piped in to the cylinder along with the motor rotated to the cylinder I am working on firing according to the rotor/diagram. If one of these valves falls in I am going to have a very bad day. Is there anyway I can determine if the piston is at TDC other than a borescope? Will compressed air be enough to hold the valves up? Thanks...Joel

look in the spark plug hole and you can see it.
