Default '86 300 Oil in air filter

I recently purchased this truck, has 145,000 miles . Previous owner put less than 1000 miles a year on it. It overheated and I corrected problem for the most part, now I have oil blowing up into the air filter. Any suggestions as to what may be the problem? I have not had a chance to change the oil since the overheating.
Thanks for helping me out.

Is it coming out of the hose from the PCV valve in the valve cover? My first truck did this and I was told the rings were bad, I just ran the hose over to a catch can and every couple of days would add it back to the engine. Sounds like a rebuild is in order.

Thanks Joe, I thought that could be the problem. Was hoping something else along easier lines would be the problem. Now have a project to look forward to. Anybody else have a suggestion, I would welcome any input.

its blowby, my 89 ford does the same thing, Im not too worried about it at 162,000 and it uses less than a quart of oil every 2-3000 miles.
