Default 1994 f150 manual clutch issues

Please help, i have a 1994 f150 manual. my issue is: truck shifts perfect. smooth no grinding and easy to put in gear. However i drive for about 30 minutes then and only then the pedal is very slow to return up. like it sits on the floor and will take 10 seconds to return. ill park the truck for a few hours and drive its good again. This problem is always when i drive for about 30 minutes shifting maybe someting heats up? i just bought this truck and it was sitting for 2 years only 60k miles and the old owners said there was a clutch done at some point. If i give to a mechanic its perfect they would have to drive for a while for problem to show up. Has anyone experienced this before. thank you everyone for any advice, jason

Wrong sub forum. Try reposting under drive train, not engine.

My guess is that there is a severe binding condition with the clutch disk/ pressure plate. Heated metals expand which might explain why the issue happens when everything is hot in the bell hosing. I can see this happening after your truck has sat for two years. I am affraid you are going to have a new clutch kit in your future. If this condition happened all the time, I might first be looking under the dash at the pedal box but I can't see that causing your problem only after a long drive.
Long ago, my truck's clutch was binding up because of long term infrequent use. My give away was that I saw powdered rust coming out of the bell housing..

Your clutch pedal is no longer connected to the master cylinder for the clutch. This is a mechanical problem, not electrical. You will be unable to operate the clutch until you replace the arm between the pedal and master cylinder.

Doesn't that year have a hydraulic clutch?
Check for the fluid level and for leaks. If there is air in the system, see if bleeding it helps.
Maybe it needs a new slave cylinder.
